Hunter Slavens is following in the footsteps of his father, Nate, and making a name for himself in the construction world. Like many young boys, Hunter dreamed of having his own machine, and by the age of 8, that dream came true. When a second skid steer was needed for the business, Hunter got the opportunity to learn and refine his skills on his very own machine.

Now a teenager, he balances half-days at school with half-days on the job at Slavens Construction, where he’s quickly mastering the trade. His natural talent and attention to detail have made him a valuable asset on job sites. Looking ahead, Hunter plans to pursue the CTE program in construction management at his school, with the goal of attending college to further his education. We’re excited to see all the great things in store for him!
